I haven't built or bought a model for 12 months or so Ive been looking at models again and im surprised at the price of models, the spark and minichamps are shockingly high  even ixo are £35 and the altaya base cars as I used to buy them for are over £15
I don't think I can afford to collect and build models anymore

You're looking in the wrong places I think. They're cheaper in mainland Europe and you'll still find sellers who have larger quantities of Altayas to offload.

20% vat and UK wholesalers asking too much for Ixo means I can buy them in cheaper including post from Europe than from the UK. Spark and Minichamps also much cheaper from Germany etc. Rip off UK strikes again.

What are the best sites in mainland Europe to get them cheap?
