Rallye du Condroz 2014

A bit of a Citroën fest. 
Mr Meeke can come back next year, never seen an R5 being pushed so hard. He was never far off the lead.

Solberg was in the lead but his C4 had other ideas and we lost him near the end of day 1.

It was win number 5 for Kris Princen, who wants to swap the Subaru for an R5. "Which one?" "Doesn't matter as long as it has 4 wheels and a steering wheel."

Yves Matton retired on Saturday too, restarted on Sunday and crashed out.

Xavier Bouche found a Focus in Italy, retired twice during the weekend.

Bertrand Grooten rolled this DS3.

Another Italian rental car, David Bonjean's Xsara WRC, the only one to last the distance.

A surprise 4th place for Eric Cunin the Fabia WRC.

Which probably has something to do with Yves Matton living nearby. In recent years we've seen Loeb in the DS3 and Ogier, and Meeke in C2 R2's.Sal wrote:Great images as usual Juha. Condroz always seems to get a top quality entry..
It's a fantastic event to watch, though I might be biased as I live 20km away and I've been going there since I was 4 - which is a few years ago.
It was unusually dry but it still caught a few people out.
