Alternative display cabinets

was sent this pic on Facebook during the week


thought it was pretty cool but I'm not really a VW person so was thinking of something equally as cool and if I had the space a display based on this would be made

original.i'll give him that!! must pick up an old manta for parts, and ask the wife about embedding it into our living-room wall lol!!!  

That does look sweet Peter, I must admit.  

But I guess it must have been quite a lot of work to create, as the wall must have been 'built out' from it's normal position to lie flush with the glass of the VW's windows, allowing for the depth of the shelves? That's why it works so well in my opinion.
