Shower of dirty bastards
I hope they get caught and hurt themselves repeatedly on the way to the station.... sure the courts will only slap their wrists when really they need broke!!
I'd look at getting better security for the office James or moving the models away somewhere safer,

Just to confirm that I learned my lesson after the first break-in. Everything was reboxed and moved so this time there was noting there apart from empty boxes.Cazzo wrote:Shower of dirty bastards

Sorry to hear this happened again James, they must have a local buyer?
I echo what the lads said, hopefully they are caught and get a good going over. Talk soon.

Sorry to hear that, James. The rotten scuts.
May their pubic hair be infested by the lice of a thousand nits and they may lose their fingers so they're unable to scratch! (to put it mildly)

Re: JOB's bad news via Facebook...
Had some time over the past week or so to re-catalogue the collection and its looking increasingly like there is a box missing with rare and consequently valuable models. In some ways they are so specialised that they will stick out like a sore thumb and will be instantly recognisable. I will know for definite next week but it looks like my entire VW rally collection is gone - 30 odd models and most close to one offs and photographed (see link below). Also two RS1700T's and a Mercedes 230. Those are the headline models and I mention them so that if anyone comes across them in the run up to Christmas they might let me know. I will post on facebook next week when I am 100% sure.

Re: JOB's bad news via Facebook...
12 months on and nothing appearing. They have either been dumped or still "cooling off". Got a phone call today from someone who had been offered a box of models and thought of me. They took a few photos but unfortunately they were not mine. With model shows springing up around the country e.g. Killarney in 10 days please keep a weather eye out.
thanks
James

What has prompted me to revisit this was a phone call I got today , out of the blue, from someone I know in Waterford who received a visit from a guy this morning with two boxes of models he was selling. It turns out they were a collection of cheap 1/43 scale models - not my mainly code 3's. it was good however to know that someone had remembered 12 months later.
