Waterslide decal paper recommendations
Considering I can download images of the tobacco decals I was looking for all I need is some decal paper.
I will be using a color laser printer to print the decals.
Any recommendations on decal paper brands is appreciated. Thanks!

i use 'crafty computer' site m8, the advantage over some of the others is his pages are A4 so no trimming the edges to fit the paper tray.... just my tuppence worth....

I also use crafty computer as well. I find their service very good, and paper quality is good. Its thin so dont need to use softners like other paper but not so thin that it breaks apart. You may need to double up on the white if your car is a strong colour as it can show through a little.

.
I'm going to order some inkjet decal paper from this crowd but before I do,
Has anyone used this "Lazertran Waterslide Decal Paper" in the link below
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It says that you don't need to clear coat the decal paper after you have printed on to it

Morning Ted,
I have just tried to access their site and the main page at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it states "Welcome we will be back soon with a new site...." at the base so it looks like they're revamping their site at the moment.
Beats me why companies cannot generate a new site separately and leave the existing one in place to continue picking up orders in the meantime though?

Thanks David, Brian.
I'll do that Brian. Many, many thanks for the offer but no immediate panic.

Hi Ted,
Have you tried emailing crafty computer paper directly? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] or sales@crafty...
I never ordered from anyone else - hope they haven't gone.

You don't have to clear coat laser printed decals. You do have to clear coat ink jet printed decals.
On the other comment about decals coming out as wet sellotape, that's happened to me before on ink jet paper when I forgot to clear coat it or didn't give it a proper coat - doh!

Fingers crossed, Seán. I'll leave you know what happens.
Thanks, Paul but I'm convinced either the paper was sh*it or I got a bad batch. The clear decals turned out fine, but the white turned out as described. Another problem I have is that I can't remember where I got them so can't advise who to stay away from

Crafty is a bit expensive at times. I used blue decals paper from
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Try this crowd too
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The benefit of using blue paper backing is you can see the white print!
