Why are models so expensif in the uk or ireland
The talbot is £108 and here €69,95
Is this because the high taxes or somthing

hi rob, its normal for otto models because they are limited-production runs and it can be difficult for uk/ireland buyers to get one...when dealers/retailers get some for resale they obviously want to make a profit, but its not just here m8, i paid £90 for my otto alpine on french ebay, which was approx 50 euros new...........

The price of the OTTO Sunbeam is advised by the UK Importer at £107.99, thats the price I charge....some have these on ebay at £120 already...yet ebay will take £10 for selling them for you...

i can understand the big differenc between the country's i pay €69,95

I got mine from the otto club for about the same price Rob,
The fella I get most of my models off said that I got mine cheaper than he is buying them from the UK Importer!!
His best price was £100 + postage and the price over here is set by the UK Importer,

sounds like the uk importer is making a good cut then, and the retailers hands are tied..........surely otto dont charge the importer more per model than they charge joe public?
