Re: Auto art Subaru wheels
ok, here comes my recipe gents....
*reminder! Under 18 prohibited
just need to remind you that this is a tricky operation which may end up broken wheels or axles. so suggesting to be very gentle.
what I first do is to dis-assemble the whole car and also the axles from the floor panel.
after that I dissemble the brake calipers from the axles.
then I am using 2 flat screw drivers which actually one of them is more like a flat V (U) neck. I gently push the regular flat screw driver in between the wheel Hub and the axle. after half way, opposite to the flat one, I gently push the V neck one. if you push too hard then it may end up braking the axle connections easily since they are tiny and not so strong.
so, now we have two screw drivers located in both sides between the hub and the axle. and gently push down the screw drivers and try to pull the wheel of the axles.
don't pull too hard as may end up braking the wheels.
sorry for my poor explanation but I hope I could give you guys the idea...

Re: Auto art Subaru wheels
find one more proper explanation...
-----
Autoart wheels are easy to remove if you know how,
DON'T pull, you'll break something
DON'T drill anything or break the wheels it's unnecessary
Take the floor off the car, unscrew the axles so the wheels are separated from the floors, use a knife or flat head screwdriver to prize away the brake calipers from the hubs.
Then get some wire cutters (tin snips, whatever) and position then between the back of the brake hub and the axle (the joint ) gently squeeze the cutters into the gap while slowly rotating the wheel , the cutters will push the wheel hub away from the axle , once there's a gap you can just twist and pull the wheel away.
Be aware not all autoart models have metal spindles keeping the wheel on, older ones have plastic spindles which are easy to snap (or cut through with the cutters if you're not careful) but this method will work 99%, it's never not worked for me.
