Do tell Niall. It's not that O'Riordan fellow is it? It would be soooooo nice to see his Fizz bomb on the Easter Stages.

some-one in a motor club could answer this perhaps.....if a rally with a road closing order doesnt run can it be run at another date or is the road closing order just set for a certain date?
i cant see the circuit running,i live just off ss2 and theres snow drifts of 6-9feet with snow falling most of today up here!!

Re: CIRCUIT OF IRELAND RALLY 2013
.
There's talk of recce on Friday so Paul may get the tractors out for a bit of clearing lol
Here's a pic of DMG's driveway from FB, he sent the photo to show why he couldn't get the recce done last Friday
I say slap a set of snow tyres on and keep the toe in her!!

The club would have to apply for a new road closing order and this may add an additional cost,
Due to the weather I'd like to think it would be granted at no extra cost,

It snowed nonstop for over 24hours where I live but the ground was too wet so it didn't lay,
Drive 5mile up the road and they are snowed in!! there's about 3foot and well over 6foot drifts,
It's not looking good for the Easter Stages to still run.... even if most of the snow is away there will be localized flooding,

It's just luck to where you live with this snow. I live 6mile from the lincolnshire Wolds. I can see the hills from my house. They are covered in the white stuff. Roads are closed and drifting snow everywhere. My sister couldn't even get out of her back door. But where i am we don't have any at all.
Hopefully it will clear and the rally will go ahead for you all. IT's fecking spring, sod of SNOW!
