Coming on very nicely Rory. I agree with paul, I doubt you'll have any problems selling that mate!
I cannot tell from the photo but is that just the primer coat?

No primer coat. Paint has been dulled using Scotch Bright. lightly sanded and then cleaned with panel wipe then simply sprayed Halfords appliance gloss white. I would suggest a primer is used as the yellow and red underneath does show through a bit and I have three coats on it so far. If it does not improve I will have to strip the shell completely with caustic soda or Simple Green

The decals are trickier than I though there were going to be-it may be blue paint rather than blue decals.

I've taken a Sunbeam and an M3 apart so once you have done one and learnt how they are put together it comes apart reasonable easily. The are a lot of small parts to remove like the front wing indicators and grills in the side pods. The lights and windows come off easily. The front and rear spoilers are plastic. The car is already RHD so it makes it a bit easier.

Jinkers!! Rory you've bigger balls than a bar fly
Looks to be coming along well and you'll have no bother selling this model,
If I had of known you were going to repaint this Otto 6R4 I'd have told you to paint it black first, sorry I'm only telling you this now,
The idea of painting it black first is to seal in the red/yellow paint, the black kills the strong colours and acts like a barrier
Looking forward to seeing this and the Sunbeam

It seems to be working OK-there is a hint of red at the panel gaps but the blue will take care of that. Have also come up with a solution for doing the blue paint on the rear windows and wing too that will over come the tricky masking problem.
