Spa Six Hours 2012
Here are a few pictures of my annual pilgrimage to Spa. Okay, it's not rallying, but it goes sideways, and lots of Fords and MG's to keep you all happy.
A few prototypes to get started:

Shadow: Black, low, go kart wheels, massive V8.

Old F1 cars:

60's sportscars, with a Maserati Birdcage:

And a D Type:

The 60's 2-litre Touring Cars, with the usual Alfa vs Cortina battle, with a few BMW's and Mini's to spice things up:

The above Cortina has seen a few famous names...

McMurray, look away, it's a Mini.

Re: Spa Six Hours 2012
I tried negotiating a gearbox for my Lotus off these guys, but it probably wouldn't fit.

F1, when a small British party-loving team could humble everyone...

An Ensign leading the race, followed by two Williams and two Copersucars... Not like it used to be.

That Maserati again, locking up:

That won't polish out, so let's tape it up!

A 3 wheeling Cortina in the HSCC race:

The odds of these two 3 wheeling are slim:

The main course, the Six Hours, with 8 GT40's:

A quality line-up to join mr Stahl in this one, although they are mostly remembered for their performances driving Stuttgart's finest:

The prancing horse's 250 GT made its first appearance in the 20th running of the event:

The eventual winners, Voyazides and Hadfield, in another GT40:

This one ended up well down the order:

After the two former Le Mans winners in the yellow GT40, here's another one: Emanuele Pirro, finished second.

This Cobra didn't finish...

A sideways Alfa...

And an MG, not to be outdone by a 3 wheeling Cortina:

Re: Spa Six Hours 2012
fantastic pictures Juha, would love to get to an event like this sometime, surprised how empty the stands look though, but I guess Spa takes a whole lot of people to fill

Re: Spa Six Hours 2012
That was taken four hours into the race, most people had left by then. People tend to walk around a lot. Why watch a straight line when you can walk around one of the best tracks in the world?
Here's a picture from 2010 showing the massive crowd in the main stand.
