MARKS STILL WITH US!

mark has left the forum under his own will, he contacted me last night to be asked to be removed,he is seeking different lines now inc rallying so i wish him all the best in the future,if anybody wants his email address send me a pm. he also has a model motorsport facebook page but the talk a few days ago was he was closing that down too.

sorry to see him go but it happened on the other forum and a few weeks later he was back....watch this space!

personally i think people look into there cabinets and just relise how much money's worth is behind glass doors and in these times alot of model collections are taking a bit of a hit due to money being so tight,which you cant blame people for at the end of the day we all need to live.

Mark will be missed on the Forum that's for sure, and like you, I hope and expect him back some time in the not too distant future. I received my IXO triangular scewdriver from Mark last week, but he gave me no indications he was going 'away' at that point. I guess there would be no reason for him to do so!

Won't be the same without him here ................................. until he returns!

each day theres a steady improvement,more movement in the knee and ankle,swelling still there but all looking good thanks steve.

Glad to hear you're progressing, Paul. Every journey starts with a single, small step. How long can you stand, now? Is that improving as well?

Have you got to go back at some stage and have the metalwork removed or is it with you for life, now?

the doc says it could be in for 10years and the physio says as little as 2 years it could be out again! fecking having to go through all this again so little down the line is dishearten!
anyway i'll face that bridge when it comes,progress is moving well,up walking on 2 crutches but i can nearly manage on 1 now so thats the next step.

Nice to know the specialists are speaking as one on the metalwork! Not!! 2-10 years seems a bit vague. The thing is, either extreme is a mark of progress, which is a positive thing! I don't envy you, though.

We all have our crosses to bear - mine includes having to inject myself 5 times a day - I'm diabetic and I've hated needles and sharp objects since I can remember! Mind you, having a hobby that involves sharp knives etc may strike a bit odd, but I've been called far worse!

It's because he left here, been going outside picking up germs!

Id say its because his credit card is starting to cool off from NOT being here. Many a cold winter night ive sat around mine to keep the chill away.
