Hello everyone

A newbie 1:43 collector here. I am an avid Skoda rally fan having driven the "Winged Arrow" since the rear-engined models in the 1980's - currently driving a Mk II Fabia. I am very envious of Mark's superb Skoda collection and will be well pleased if I can have one half as good.
This looks a great site with a lot of good advice and tips but will wait awhile before I attempt any building but will be on the lookout for any Skodas for my collection - the Abrex models look excellent.

Thanks for the warm welcome, hope to contribute more as time goes on. I have a feeling already that being part of this forum means that my wallet is going to empty pretty quickly though .

Have a look around in there and you should see a few photos of some of older skoda models. I'm not great on this posting photos business but if you can get into flickr you can see them.

This place always reminds me of the old joke about how to become a millionaire while rallying ........start rallying when you are a multi millionaire.

James, thanks for the link. You have a fine collection and I loved the Skodas, especially the 130LR's and the Felicias (plus the van of course). I have not been able to find anywhere who sells these models - I don't suppose that you can advise at all ?.
