Re: New website diecastrallymodels.co.uk
Nicky, I was wondering if there might be provision for a separate are for rallycross cars, being a popular offshoot of the mainstream rally machinery? There are several of us on the Forum making/ acquiring rallycross cars, but I appreciate that not everyone will be as interested, nay passionate about our rallycross cars. Cheers, Steve

Re: New website diecastrallymodels.co.uk
Hi everyone, sorry for not posting on here lately. To be honest I havent viewed the forum every day or two which is bad but had other interests taking over at the moment.
I didnt realise till I was on here now that there were adverts back up which meant we have been going for over 6 months! I have just paid to remove them for another 6 months as I think it makes the forum look alot neater without them at the top of the page.
I do still have plans to do a main homepage and will keep you all updated with news as and when it happens
I would just like to thank everyone for their continued support (especially Paul as moderator while he is in the recovery process after the accident) and here is to plenty more great times on here in the future.

Many thanks Nicky mate, but don't get yourself out of pocket with any forum expenses! I'm sure the active members would be more than happy to contribute to any costs you incur. Doesn't seem fair you having to stump up all the time!
Cheers for sorting the adverts though fella!

Re: New website diecastrallymodels.co.uk
No probs gents
David, its only a very small cost to me. I used to do it with the 6r4.net forum but as there was only me, yourself, Mark and David being the only ones that used to post on there I havent paid to take them off in a few years now. At least this place has lots of members that contribute to discussions etc so I am more than happy to do it

It's not visible on my PC at home either Paul! So that's my Apple Mac at work via Firefox using work's BT WiFi, my Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray mobile via their own browser using 3G, or my Packard Bell PC at home using Firefox & Internet Explorer using my home Virgin WiFi?
It is not there! It has vanished! It is no more! It is no longer of this world! It has ceased to exist!... ...to coin a Monthy Python sketch!

It also seems to take ages returning to the forum once you've made a post too. I get a whirling ring - oo'er missus! - for longer than usual, and if I look in the bottom corner of my brower it states...
'Connecting to img850.imageshack.us....'
...as if it cannot find an image?

Not showing for me either on my girlfriends laptop (Windows XP with firefox)
I think the reason its showing for some people is that the image is stored in their cache memory.
