Cork City Library Display

It’s been a while since I uploaded pics so the phone only allows 3 at one time. Some pics of a display currently running at the Public Library in the centre of Cork City . Well worth a visit if you happen to be in the city - runs until the end of May.

Celebration of the history of what is locally known as the "Straight Road" - a 2.75 straight stretch of road used to set the Irish Landspeed record in the past. It also formed part of the route of three Grand Prix races held in the 1930's. The speed record was set on a bike so there is a strong motorbike theme but its always a bonus to get exposure for motorsport. Donie, Ted and myself contributed models etc .

3 Grandmasters of this forum, the Emerald Isle and the 1/1 rally scene have done a stand out job there - bravo gentlemen

Some very good displays there, with some more unusual cars on display.

I see there is a Coleman Transit service van but it's a MK1! Ther is an IXO SWB MK2 due for release soon and am working on doing about 10 of them. Does anyone have pics of this van? I have a nice side on one. What was the reg no on it?
