Cheers Lads,
Ryan I couldn't find a good colour match on my colour cards so had to do a mix for it myself,
I just used white with a few drops of a bark blue tinter I have on the paint scheme,
If you need the paint I can mix it for you but you will need to use an airbrush,

Cheers for the offer Colin! I don't have an airbrush.... yet.
I'll keep you in mind though if I do get one and need paint mixing!

I haven't found a set of side window decals yet to finish of the Boland Monte Carlo Impreza so if anyone has some they don't need I've a few pound here for them,
While waiting on decals and more base models Paul has been over again to leave of models for painting,
The last two were JJ Fleming's yellow Focus and then I've started on these two red Focus's that were run by McKinstry Motorsport, so the driver could be anyone lol
Fleming
The day after this photo was taken I came home to find the windows fogged up, it turns out that the glue was still soft when I built the model back up,
It sat overnight and the vapor from the glue stained the windows, I had to strip the model open again and clean the windows with toothpaste and a cotton bud,
Foggy Windows
One Fixed
I've got the other one fixed now and Paul has been over to collect them and here's the other 2 Focus's he left off,
I got them painted yesterday so now that they've sat over night I can start to do the black detail and glue the bits back on this time remembering to let it sit overnight for the glue vapor to disappear

Re: Cazzo's Project Thread
just read this - side mirrors is that the black outline for the rear windows which says Subaru underneath?
I have multiple sets here; no boland/regan names but the window decals (how many you need and address?)

Cheers Lad's,
Paul I hope to have these 2 red one's ready for midweek, you can drop of the other models when you are picking these 2 up,
Ah Dr your a star, that's the decals I need (black side window outline with Subaru on it) I have the Boland/Regan decals here,
I thought the outline decals were on the decal sheet with the names so removed them when stripping the base model
I'll PM you my address just let me know how much you need for them,
Cheers

Re: Cazzo's Project Thread
.
I had a wee decal job to do over the weekend for Mark but I haven't fitted decals in a while,
To get me back into the swing of things I removed the "Racing" decals and tampo from this M3 and fitted the "Rothmans" decals,
Looking at these photos I see I forgot to do the sunstrip!!
After I got the hands and eyes trained again lol I started into Marks model,
I was going to put up pics of it but I'll wait until Mark has seen it first and showed it in his arrivals thread,
Now that Mark's model is finished I can get back to working on the Focus's for Paul,
The black detail is all done so I will build them up today but leave the interior and floorpan off to let the vapor from the glue escape.... I dont want to have to clean windows again

Cheers Lads,
Tho it was only a quick conversion, I just changed the Racing to Rothmans, amazing what a few decals can do
Gaz I've no plans for Mantas other than the McHale Manx when I get round to it,
I wouldn't mind doing it from the COI or Ulster rally if it was just a case of door/rally plate decals
