Well the sun came out today just in time to take a few before & after photos of this S12,
The upper spoiler on the roof is now fitted and the other door mirror has been put back on,

Cheers for the feedback Lads,
Yeah Chris I don't think I'll be getting out much for a while,
The amount of stuff that has arrived over the last week is unreal!!

Re: Cazzo's Project Thread

Well I was flat out yesterday for a wee change lol
I had a pile of Skode Fadia's to strip and respray for Steve + a Legacy to respray for Alan,
All the models were wrapped in paper towel and put into thinners to sit for about half an hour,
I then took them out 1 at a time and gave them a rub while they were still wrapped up in the towel,
Doing it this way means all the paint that comes off stays in the paper and I can reuse the thinners over and over again,
When most of the paint is off and the paper towel is removed I just had to give the model a quick rub over with a stiff plastic brush,
Then it was time to set them up for painting so I used toothpicks with the ends cut off so they would fit in the screw holes on the shell,
I had a big bit of packing that came with a dishwasher that we got a while ago so used it to set the models up putting them round the edge so I could get at both sides with the gun,
The spoilers were set up using toothpicks and the roof scoops were stuck down to masking tape placed with the sticky side facing up,
Here's a few pics
And today I will be flat out again adding the black detail and building these back up, I'm looking forward to the weekend.... Oh hold on
