Ah Steve the Boland Cossie still needs a RHD conversion but it's working out more difficult than I thought,
The Lovell decals are ordered and I'll keep you posted as I build it
Cheers

Steve and Paul gave me a few days off so I worked away with stripping this Corolla for Billy,
I had most of the decals removed so started on the tampo, some of it was very tricky as it was tight up to the black window lines,
The Castrol stripes on the roof were painted on before the black paint for the side windows so removing them meant having to hit the black,
I don't mind redoing the black at the top part of the side windows, I'm just glad I don't have to redo all of them!!
Another basket of a job was the green paint on the rear bumper, it took ages to remove but I've got most of it off now,
I'll give it another wee go over to remove the green paint from the lines in the bumper then I'll need to paint the rear spoiler,
Decals removed just the Tampo Paint to go now
Tampo Paint removed not long now
Interior detail pics just while it's pulled apart
Honestly Billy I know how to put it back together again

Ive stripped 2 of these now so if you get stuck putting it back together let me know.
Sounds like a lot of work to remove the bits, glad i resprayed the whole lot now. Even in white it looks amazing

Sure there's always something of your sittin on the work bench over here Paul lol
Cheers Brian,
Yeah it was tricky enough getting the tamop paint off, the red was easy but the green on the rear bumper was so thick I had to do it twice,
First go was to soften the green paint and remove a bit of it, then I let it sit for about an hour and went at it again,
If I went at it all in one go then the white underneath would start to stain, this green has been the toughest yet!!

Re: Cazzo's Project Thread
it seems a nice project coming alone. looking forward to your progress.
somehow, I started to fancy Corolla WRC's these days and just got a spare model back from Istanbul for a new project. It will be in my long project list thinking of something red and white
