I've been flat out with work + training on the bike this week but found enough time to finish these models for Steve,
All these models were decal strip and tampo wash so no painting this time,
I'll get these packed up and ready to post over to you on Monday Steve,
Can you PM me your address + how much I owe you for the 2 Fina M3's
Cheers

My Project Thread looks more like Paul & Steve's Prep Thread
I'm going to have to get back decaling the 205 T16 and a few M3's just to keep me sane
I've the back of the Impreza washed down and ready to build back up + got another 2 Focus's stripped and painted up over the weekend,
.
They didn't turn out half good . Mighty impressive, Colin.
The finished articles are good too, of course - though it's a wonder he allowed you to spray a white base !

Colin those focus's look amazing
Now then where's that box so I can send some over for repainting lol
I hope the Wilson Monte focus would be ok to use for Fleming Donegal 2012 focus

Cheers Ted, I too was surprised to hear Paul looking white models painted!!
Normally it's every other colour being resprayed in white.... I do wish he would make up his mind lol
Thanks Steve,
As Paul has said the Wilson Monte Focus is the base to use, easy to strip and respray + it has the correct wheels,
I still have some Yellow here so if you are looking 1 done stick it in with the Fina M3 to save on postage

I got a chance to do a bit of test building to the Bosch Marlboro M3 this week,
On this one I painted the blue bits first on Thursday then today I painted the red bits,
I was just testing new ways of masking up and went that far I ended up fitting decals tonight,
My plan is to put a few coats of lacquer over it tomorrow then finish of the black detailing and build her up,
Pic's from yesterday and tonight,

Cheers Mark & Martin,
There's a few things I'll change when I'm doing the other 5,
I'll may use a brighter red and try to match it to the Marlboro decals but not sure if it will look too bright, I'll need to look at photo's again,

Cheers Rob & Paul,
It's not looking too bad but I'll be happier when I get it lacquered,
The red stripe on the bonnet didnt line up the way it should have as a bit of paint got under the tape,
I touched it up with some red paint so there was a straight line and let it sit over night,
Now it's fully dried I was able to cut some white decal paper into a point and set it over the red to fix it,
Heading into work now so I'll update when I get home.... thats if everything goes well lol
