Re: Cazzo's Project Thread
.
Thanks Rob,
Yeah Paul if I'm doing a different event I'll give you a shout,
In between adding the black detail to the 2 red Focus's I've also started to strip the Vatanen Scottish MKll,
I've always wanted his COI car done using a Trofeu base, I have the Vitesse version here but it doesn't look right sitting with the rest of my MKll,
Now that the decals have been stripped I can make a start on it tomorrow night,
.

Cheers Chris,
It does look well just plain black but the decals are already on her lol
Good news Paul, them red Focus's will be ready tomorrow night and I'll have the other white one ready aswell,
You can pick them up when you are ready and drop off the next batch,
I'll let them sit over night to let the glue set then build them up,
I've also got the Vatanen '82 COI decals fitted to the Trofeu base,
At first I thought there wasn't much difference between the Scottish and COI models but there was so I had to redecal all of it,
I just need to paint the mudflaps black and that should be it,

Thanks Rob,
Tonight I started something a wee bit different,
I had a Vatanen Monte Carlo 205 T16 that didn't fit into my collection,
So stripped the decals off it and I plan to build Mikael Sundstrom's Burmah Rally '86 winning car,
I thought I would get away with just changing the door/rally plates but most of the decals had to come off,
The blue on the sill has to stay on + the Michelin on the bumpers, I've left them on to make the build easier,
When I removed the decals on the side there was a wee touch-up of blue paint around the side vent again I left it on,
So now I don't need to get the decal to fold round it..... that was nice of Spark to be so thoughtful lol

The wee 205 T16 has been put on hold until I clear a back log of base models for Steve and Paul,
I'll get back to this T16 next weekend,
Here's a few base models stripped and the tampo washed off,
The back of this Impreza is all paint so it still needs washed off, I just need to check with Steve to make sure he wants it removed,

My Project Thread looks more like Paul & Steve's Prep Thread
I'm going to have to get back decaling the 205 T16 and a few M3's just to keep me sane
I've the back of the Impreza washed down and ready to build back up + got another 2 Focus's stripped and painted up over the weekend,
