Some good old photos there.

My overriding memory of spectating on the 86 RAC was the light aircraft being used by the teams for transmitting communications between car and mechanics.

The weather was very good, so most teams had a plane in the sky and all you could hear was the constant droning of light aircraft circling about.

Good days now long gone...

Found you car 35 was down as McHale & TBA!!!!

There is a small b&w front photo of your car on page 42 of Rally Sport magazine January 1989. Again quite grainy and would get worse if copied.

It says you were 24th o/a and 6th in class.

Brake problems, 3 spins on SS10, later more spins, puncture, failed dampers and ignition problems before finishing 24th
