Mudflapgate at ALMC

3 of the top crews not allowed to score points on the REIS series of the ALMC as their flaps not correct with the rules. One of the drivers a non championship contender Kenny McKinstry was pulled in because his mudflaps did not correspond.

3 of the top 10 at the ALMC Stage in Ireland have been refused REIS championship points due to their mudflaps, yes you read it right, MUDFLAPS, not complying with MSA rules, even though the rally is run under motorsport Ireland, Irish rally legend Kenny McKinstry has even been pulled in.

ALL the cars can do the rally as they have passed scrutiny, but don't get champ points

iirc something similar happened solberg a few years back in a wrc event............ 

happened on this event last year with evans i think. I know rules are rules but some, they are only mudflaps

Absolutely stupid. Could understand if it helps performance but mudflaps  

Msa has been been a joke for a long time

But this shows what fools they really are.....

I think they be flapping over nothing   

Not that there is going to be any mud on the event.
