left the subaru up to ali burrows motorsport tonight to get remapped and tuned abit....couldnt drive her with standard bhp!

nice paul, what package did you go for? are you happy with the difference? i had mine mapped to 275 from the std 225 and thought it hadn't made much difference until i chatted to the engineer, who told me he had mapped her for performance right through the rev range, instead of just low down....took her out onto the m22 and opened her right up...........def imnpressive high up the range, but 90% of the time i'm not in that rev band so not sure about whether it was worth the effort..........ah well, sure its all good craic!

i just told him to up the bhp

just took off my gorgeous black & blue 18" alloys for the winter to keep the salt off them....put back on the crappy silver-grey 17" originals, don't care if they get kerbed or salted, but they don't look good..............

I have recently got myself another car. Got so sick of spending money getting my focus ST170 fixed every month or so, so managed to trade the focus for this skoda octavia vrs my first petrol turbo car, and absolutely love it! So much better than the focus in every way. Got a service done on it already and got it booked in for a cambelt and waterpump in a few weeks time. I am going to be getting a few bits resprayed on the car soon (nothing major but I am very fussy about paintwork on my cars lol) and after that I have quite a few plans for it to get more power and detail the engine bay etc.

nice car nicky, health to enjoy m8...........did you have a load of hassle with the focus then m8? i know the RS is very well-respected, and presumed the st 170 would be just as reliable and enjoyable, if not up to the same performance levels.........

ive changed my mk3 focus ST for a KA for my wife and a face lift mk2 focus ST lovin 5pot 2.5t again
